Free Clarinet Training - 3 Days for Newer (or Returning) Clarinetists Tune Up:

You will sound better, feel better, and have some good "next steps" to improve your clarinet tone, fingerings and music making.

3 Days To Better Clarinet
Schedule of Events

In three interactive live clarinet training sessions, I will share some of the best step-by-step systems to help you improve your clarinet playing. These trainings are for you if you started clarinet recently, or are picking it up after a long break or perhaps are self-taught and would appreciate some professional guidance on the basics. Many of these technics will make a difference almost immediately, and some you will work on over the next few days/weeks/months to continue to meaningfully improve your clarinet playing. Sign up in the box below to receive the link to your free training sessions and replay videos. Each session will be approximately one hour in length and I will answer any clarinet questions that you may have. I look forward to seeing you in our Zoom Session. Please remember that when you register, you'll have access not only to the live sessions, but a recorded replay for you to have your clarinet lessons later if you cannot attend live. The times below are listed in Pacific Time Zone.

Day 1 - The Basics To Sounding Good on Clarinet - December 5 12:30 pm

There are a few good habits that make a huge difference to how good we sound and how easy it feels to make a sound. This first free training session covers the basics of embouchure (mouth shape), air and gear to help you get a good sound.

Day 2 - The Best Ways to Start and End Notes More Easily - Better Clarinet Articulation - December 9 4:30 pm

Most people have never been taught the best-sounding ways to start and stop notes on clarinet. Learn how to tongue on clarinet and move between notes more easily without squeaking and squawking.

Day 3  - Easier Clarinet Fingering - December 11 12:30 pm

Do you notice that your higher notes sound out of tune, or squawky? Do you find it harder to tongue than slur in the high register? Join me for 15 minutes of clarinet corrections that will make all of this feel easier for you. It can be very frustrating when notes don’t come out, or new fingerings feel tricky. Michelle presents several pointers to help you feel more comfortable with new notes on clarinet, and how to move more quickly between notes.
