Who Is Anna Payne?
Anna is a business coach and mentor and an Instagram expert, with over 20 years of commercial experience. She supports women to change their worlds and the wider world by building good businesses.
After a psychology degree, Anna worked in executive recruitment, becoming director of a seven-figure turnover SME by 30 and Managing Director soon after. After 17 years in leadership roles in the recruitment industry, Anna left to raise her babies but like a typical entrepreneur accidentally built a six-figure children’s activity business within a year.
Anna learned a lot about building a brand on social media in that first year. She also met many other entrepreneurs, and saw just how many of them were lacking marketing confidence or know-how and how this was impacting on their abilities to succeed as business owners. She knew she could make a huge difference, supporting others to succeed.
Her background in sales and successful start-ups as well as an unshakable belief in doing the right thing, putting people at the heart of everything and making things happen by taking imperfect action has shaped her into a straight-talking mentor, obsessed with unlocking potential, who knows that success is built on solid foundations of strategy, action and mindset.
After years travelling for work and adventure, Anna now lives just outside Edinburgh, with her children and their small dog with big attitude.
