We were so pleased with our order for the replacement gas cylinder for our Steelcase office chair. Crandall Office Furniture was prompt in shipping, the delivery was great. But what wowed us was the follow-up attention they showed to ensure we received our order and everything was going good. It was not a robot e-mail, it was from real people who answered any and all my responses. These "northerners" surely showed us "southerners" with their "southern hospitality" how customer service should be. Would not hesitate to do business with them again!

- Chair came before estimated delivery date. +2- Chair was in exact working quality as described and pictured. +2- Small sticky splotch on metal base, easily cleaned by alcohol wipe. -1- Installation was 15 minutes, and included was a single-sided, colored page with very simple instructions with supplementary pictures. +1- All parts that require hardware (like screws) came pre-installed. +1

Hi David,The replacement mechanism clamshell cover set was perfect with much improved securement tabs but the chair is now screwed up. We couldn't get the base off using the rubber mallet shown in your video so we got two mallets and hit opposite legs simultaneously. Instead of separating the base from the gas cylinder, the cylinder separated at its top. I think it broke because the chair seems much worse off now.I'd like to consider sending this chair to you as trade-in for 2 large refurbished replacement Aeron chairs.I'd also like to know why you support Steelcase chairs. Are they as good?Doug
