Petes Paleo Shipping
How long does shipping and delivery take?
First please note - Every order that is in by Friday at midnight PST will be shipped from Petes Paleo kitchens on Wednesday to arrive by Friday (based on your location). Every order that comes in after Friday at midnight PST will go into next week’s order and be next week’s menu.
Petes Paleo ship via FedEx. All of Petes Paleo orders will arrive within 1-2 days once shipped, and Petes Paleo provide the cheapest option available to you - whether that's Ground or Air. Both services will arrive within 1-2 days. Petes Paleo also offer Next Day Air Saver, if you absolutely need a guaranteed next day delivery.
Petes Paleo hope you understand that no matter what product you order and whether it's fresh or frozen, Petes Paleo cook meals fresh every week to order and therefore Petes Paleo only ship Wednesdays.
How are the meals delivered?
Simple answer: FedEx nationwide delivery (Ground/Home Delivery or Air)
Food is shipped directly to your home via FedEx (within 1-2 days of ship day), nationwide. Food that is shipped is placed in biodegradable insulated boxes with custom frozen gel packs which are reusable (and dry ice during summer months), because Petes Paleo ship FRESH, not frozen except the Chef Choice bundle meals.
Remember, Petes Paleo are shipping food, and while it ships fresh in an insulated box with frozen gel packs (and sometimes dry ice), it’s still perishable. You will receive tracking information from FedEx on Wednesday or Thursday. Please arrange for the box to be refrigerated as soon as it is delivered. Unfortunately, Pete’s Real Food cannot be responsible for food spoilage after the box has been delivered if Corso green shipping protection has not been purchased.
Petes Paleo only ship once a week (Wednesdays), so if you upgraded shipping, it'll arrive on Thursday, otherwise please expect it by Friday.
What Happens If My Delivery Is Lost, Stolen, Damaged or Spoiled?
If you experience a delay in transit that affects the quality of your food, not to worry! As long as you’ve purchased our Green Shipping Protection by Corso, your order is backed by Petes Paleo shipping guarantee. If your delivery is lost, stolen, damaged or spoiled, Petes Paleo’ll reship your order and do what Petes Paleo can to make it right.*
If you purchased Green Shipping Protection, claims for orders marked as delivered must be filed within 15 days of the order being marked as delivered with Corso Green Shipping Protection.

Most claims will receive a response from Corso within an hour.
All Subscription orders will be issued a refund. If you receive shipments every 2, 3 or 4 weeks, Petes Paleo can send a replacement order!
If you placed a one time purchase order from our Paleo Meal Plan menu, as long as your claim is resolved by Tuesday 12pm pst your order will be shipped that same Wednesday. If it has not been resolved by mentioned deadline your order will be shipped the following week.
Damaged/Spoiled
Sometimes, as hard as they may try, FedEx and UPS are not always able to deliver packages on time. And Petes Paleo all know what that means for perishable goods. Don't worry, Petes Paleo got your back. If your food is spoiled because they delivered it late, Petes Paleo will work with you to get you out a replacement!
Lost
If your tracking information indicates that your package has been lost in transit and is undeliverable, please contact Petes Paleo and they will arrange for a replacement shipment!
Stolen
Petes Paleo've all experienced this at one time or another, porch theft! It's the worst because you're so excited to receive the package delivered email and then poof it's not there! No worries, Petes Paleo can get a replacement order shipped out for you! Please contact Petes Paleo and they will get you all squared away.
Reshipments are of equivalent value to original purchase. for our subscription customers who do not want a reshipment, Petes Paleo offer the retail value minus any shipping/taxes/coupons/discounts.
Why do you charge for shipping?
Most online businesses hide the cost of shipping by bumping up the price of their products to incorporate it. For a long time, Petes Paleo tried to do that (thanks Amazon Prime!). Unfortunately, the rates move up quite often and Petes Paleo aren’t able to raise our prices to reflect that. What’s the difference if you pay it in one column or another, right? You’re still paying for it, and everybody knows there is no package transport fairy!
So here’s what Petes Paleo’ve done. From now on, Petes Paleo are charging for what our food costs to make, and then you will be billed at checkout for exactly what Petes Paleo shippers charge to get the meals fresh to your door. As I’m sure you’re familiar by now when ordering Grub Hub, Uber Eats, etc. there’s a cost associated with having these great meals brought to your doorstep. Petes Paleo Refund policy
Due to the perishable nature of our food products, Petes Paleo do not accept returns. Petes Paleo refund policy is handled on a case by case basis but packages which are delivered late or lost by FedEx will only be reshipped or refunded if Corso Green Shipping Protection has been purchased.
