Go Kalimba Refund policy

Returns

Go Kalimba accept return of products. Customers have the right to apply for a return within 30 days after the receipt of the product. 

This means that all exchanges and refunds can be processed within 30 days of receiving your order. Verification of return (i.e, return tracking number) will be required in order to process the refund; if verification is not supplied, a refund will not be processed. Returns must be sent no longer than 5 business days from the date you receive return instructions. Late returns will not be accepted. 

If the return is caused by the customer, customer should be responsible for the return shipping fee and respective taxes. Go Kalimba will deduct the fee and taxes if the cost is borne on Go Kalimba end when proceeding refund.

Shipping Fee: The specific fee should be based on the express company you choose. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you are shipping an item over $45, you should consider purchasing shipping insurance. Go Kalimba don’t guarantee that Go Kalimba will receive your returned item. If due to our reasons, the goods received are damaged or not correct, and the consumer is not required to bear the shipping fee and taxes for this reason. No restocking fee to be charged to the consumers for the return of a product.

How to return/exchange item and proceed refund

Please follow this process for returning your parcel to Go Kalimba:

First, contact Go Kalimba to raise the request for return and corresponding reasons.
After we have confirmed your desire to return the item, please re-pack the item in its original packaging with labels and tags still attached.
Post your item to a given address. Go Kalimba advise the return goods by Post Office shipment facility rather than couriers like DHL, UPS, which may cost much more. Also, Go Kalimba strongly recommend you send the products using a secured or tracking method (mandatory in order to be eligible for a refund), and that you retain your proof of postage. As soon as Go Kalimba have your return, we will issue a full refund/exchange.
Go Kalimba’ll send you an email to confirm your return has been received and that your refund has been processed. You can expect to receive your refund within 1-3 working days of your package return. Go Kalimba are not obliged to give you a refund until we receive the returned products.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your return is received and inspected, Go Kalimba will send you an email to notify you that they have received your returned item. Go Kalimba will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Exchanges (if applicable)

Go Kalimba only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send Go Kalimba an email at may@gokalimba.com. Because Go Kalimba cannot ensure the item required will be available by the time returned items come back to the Distribution Center, except in very limited circumstances, Go Kalimba are unable to accommodate exchanges.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, Go Kalimba will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Stolen Packages

If you believe that your package has been stolen please notify your local law enforcement immediately. Go Kalimba take lost or stolen packages very seriously any would like to assist you in opening an official investigation for missing mail. While Go Kalimba understand that mail theft is an issue in some areas, Go Kalimba cannot be held responsible for packages that are stolen if tracking information states the package was delivered to the address provided by the customer.

Order Cancellation Request

Cancellation requests after 12 hours of the placed order will be not accepted, whether or not your desired item(s) has been shipped. If you order has been shipped, you (the buyer) will also be responsible for actual return shipping charges.
